Billing: invoices, payment methods and cancelling
Paddle is the merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and sales tax, so your card details never reach us. How to update a card, download an invoice, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel.

Returnolio billing is handled by Paddle, a merchant of record for software subscriptions. That means Paddle is the seller on your receipt, and Paddle handles payment, invoicing and sales tax. Your card details are stored only on Paddle's PCI-compliant systems (PCI is the card industry's security standard). Returnolio never sees them.
Plans
We offer four tiers (Free, Core, Analyst, and Pro) with monthly or yearly billing on the paid ones. The Free tier is how you evaluate the platform; there is no separate free trial, so a paid plan begins, and is billed, from day one. See What each plan gets you for how the tiers differ; the live prices and the full feature matrix sit on the upgrade screen in the app.
Managing your subscription
In the app, open the Avatar menu and pick Subscription for a one-click link to your Paddle customer portal, where you can:
- Update your payment method
- Download invoices
- Switch between monthly and yearly billing
- Pause or cancel
Cancellation effective at period end
Cancelling stops the next renewal but lets you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling is self-serve; a refund is not, and you have to ask for one. Monthly plans are not prorated (no partial refund for the days you didn't use). Annual plans can be refunded pro-rated if you cancel within 30 days of the charge. See Refunds and the Free tier for the full policy.
